Oh yes! all through elementary school and even early Jr high with my younger sisters. So much fun. maybe I need to teach my great niece?
Yes, I do remember playing hopscotch. My favorite game to play was tetherball !! I could beat everyone at school!
Yeah, but it was more fun to play Johnny on the Pony which I played all the way through middle and high school.
YES...I loved hopscotch when I was a young girl...great memories!
Loved it - but the kids today, they barely know what it is! I tried to teach it at the elementary school where I work and couldn’t keep their attention long enough to make it to the top! A sad loss to today’s generation!
O yeah!...we little neighborhood girls (about 6 of us) had the best time, and my mom was the only mom that would allow all of us to chalk, apparently the other moms did not want their pretty sidewalks messed up..hee hee!
Ye sI played it too. what fun we had on the school playground and drawing chalk ones at a home
Oh yes and all our driveway was chalked up and then my dad actually painted one on the garage floor for us as it rains all the time in Rochdale (one way to get kids outside)
Yes! I loved playing hopscotch when I was a kid...and then played it with my daughter when she was a kid. Great memories.
