I would love to answer this intelligently however I can’t. No I don’t want something passed that is sneaky or underhanded. No I don’t want something passed that I will have to pay more for. Yes I do think we need change in our healthcare. I also think if you are on welfare and receiving medical aid then there should be better checks n balances put in place to keep the lifers off it. I do think something needs to be available to those who can’t afford insurance on their own.
My 20 yr old daughter earns $9 an hour and lives on her own (Her choice I know!)wouldn’t she be someone who could benefit from being able to get well being check ups to help prevent issues down the road????
I just don’t know.....

I guess when someone wants to push something through so quickly makes me feel like there is something in it they don’t want you to notice.
If you want to read over 2000 pages, then you would at least be able to say you read it. However, that does not mean they are not going to make some changes after it is passed.
To answer some questions, you say right now you can go to the emergency room....yes and you get treated that day. With this reform you may have to wait months or years for an operation. I believe that if someone wanted health insurance they would find a way to get it. Anyone who smokes, drinks, does drugs or any other vises, should use that money for health insurance. I pay almost $500. a month for health insurance but I choose that over other things. I would cut back to have it.
