Who do you feel has the best body lotion on the market today? I’m looking for a great body lotion that will truly give me a silky and not oily feeling?
Do you have The Body Shop where you are? If so, I love their body butters. They are not greasy and do moisturize and leave the skin feeling silky.
Thx ladies

One thing to consider, too Neicy is to exfoliate your skin so the lotion you use penetrates well. I’ve been using a dry brush on my skin since I was in high school. You simply brush the skin on your arms, legs, upper chest and even your belly - in the direction of your heart. Then I get into the shower and put my lotion on while my skin is still warm. Works like a charm.
Oh, also, organic shea butter. You can buy it in it’s natural state and it’s simply wonderful! I use it in some of my cleansers and eye treatments.
WOW! thanks for the info. Choc and Cristina.

and I second that you need to exfoliate on a daily basis. Not too much because you do not want to inflame your skin, but just enough so that the dead skin cell will come off. Our skin sheds it’s dead - cornified skin cells (yuck) on a daily basis. Sometimes those little suckers won’t come off, so we need to help them a bit! The brush Choc is referring to is far better than a loofa, I feel. Loofas, however, have a nice squishy feel and they come in many sizes. Have fun scrubbing and silking up! Ask mr. wonderful to help
I’m trying to imagine this brush Cynthia. I want to start using one.
Also, I am hypothyroid and in the winter my skin goes CRAZY!
The ONLY thing that helps me is Aveeno bath oil in the shower (shave with it too) and Aveeno lotion.
I like Nivea original for the body. Good old vaseline for the feet. In the winter after a good exfoliation once a week a Virgin Greek olive oil does the trick for me (be careful to read the label about where the product is manufactured)...like a baby’s bottom! Do it when Mr. wnderful is not around as he might mistake you for salad
