If you have daughters, at what age did you pierce their ears if ever?
The girls 1 yr and 3 yrs respectively. The oldest got a second hole in each ear her first year at college. She is also allergic to Nickel. No body piercings or tattoos at this point. The boy has no piercings or tattoos.
My sister had hers pierced in high school and I was in Junior High.
My oldest daughter - age 17 - refuses to go through the pain of a piercing but wants to get a tattoo when old enough. Just wait until that needle hits!!!
My 13 yo has tried to get her ears pierced twice but her ears get so swollen from the gun. When she turns 16 she plans to have me take her to a piercing place to have them pierced with a needle.
I, too pierced my own daughter’s ears and did it at 6 & 8wks. The babies just had a tiny little surgical post. No diamonds or gems or anything like that! My aunt pierced mine when I was about 2 yrs old.
Oldest daughter’s biological mother had hers pierced when she was a toddler.
Next daughter was 12 I think. I remember the day and going to the mall to have it done. My mother talked her into it.
Youngest daughter, I’m guessing she pierced her own. Who knows with her. Pain isn’t much of an issue for her. She’s had her lip and tongue both pierced. Ugh!
My mom pierced mine with a needle and an ice cube when I was in the eigth grade.

I pierced my daughter’s ears before she turned one. My reasoning being that by the time she discovered her ears she would think it was natural and not pull at them.
Both daughters were 10 when I took them. My youngest gave herself a second hole herself. Still can’t understand how she could do that to herself. Both of my daughters tatoos that they got when they were in their 20’s. They are very tastefully done.
My two daughter’s ear’s were pierced at the ages of 8 weeks old.

I was 13 - my daughter has not mentioned it to this point she is about to turn 9 
I had mine done at 10 and Alice was around 11 years old (it turned into a drama as she said no after the first one so had to make her have the other ear done)
In the UK ear piercing must have parental consent under 16 years old and body piercing over 18 only.
My sons got one ear pierced around 13 and 10 it was fashionable and with me in charge LOL. safer.
My girls were about 1 1/2 and 2 months old...and talking about embarrassing...I decided to let the baby go first...and she started crying so when Miranda saw her older sister crying naturally she started to cry too...here I was with two babies crying their eyes out and people were staring at us and probably thinking I was a mean mother...boy was I glad when we got out of there...
I have 3 daughters. I left the choice completely up to them. When they wanted it I let them do it.
