    • First job-grocery store cashier when I was a senior in HS.

I’ve worked as a telephone marketer, stock clerk, retail clothing manager, retail toy manager (the only time in my life I caught strep!) computer purchasing manager, DJ, news announcer & radio programmer. Now candle maker.

    • When I was in High School in Hong Kong, my mother never allowed me to work any kind of summer job though my friends all worked in factories, etc.  My 1st job was in College: catering, cafeteria: flipping burgers, fried chicken, coffee.  Then I worked with a temp agency, message center, odds and ends office job.  Then to Utah, secretarial position in Architectural Firm, Insurance agency, Chinese restaurant waitress, hostess, cashiering as well as other chain restaurants.  Then I worked in claims before I finally have a career.

    • I started out as a waitress. Then went to fast food. Then my boys were born. I stayed at home with them and homeschooled. Then I was a receptionist at a hair salon. An insurance claims rep. I did the aweful retail stunt. That all brought me to the most interesting job of working in a state mental health facility. I truly loved that job! But then things needed my attention at home and now I back to being a housewife. Being able to be at home is fulfilling, but totally different then when the boys were here with me.

    • I have worked since I was 12! I started babysitting at that age, and earned a job working on the broodmare farm where I babysat working with their horses. By the time I was 16 I was babysitting full time in the summers, and I also worked fast food as a cashier. I ‘graduated’ to waitressing from there. Then after I got married I waited tables, and tended bar for about 6 months and then went on to get a job with a bank in the Operations dept. I changed positions several times there, and became a self taught programmer, working in automations. I worked there for over 15 years total. I also sold Tupperware at one point when my oldests were small. I even drove a Tupperware van. 5 years ago I ‘retired’ from my programming job when they quit allowing us to telecommute. I am now a full-time wellness and weight management consultant. Having a home based business is the best! I love being able to help people restore their health. I am a homeschool mom and we run a mini-farm too.

    • I started babysitting when I was about 11 years old for my nieces and nephews.

My first job was a delivery girl for a local drugstore.  I worked there for 6 years and loved every minute of it.
Then I worked for a home health care agency for 4 years ....entering numbers into the computer for the VP’s and accountants. It was a very stressful job to say the least.
Then ..my sister owned a Hallmark store...and I managed it for 6 years...and loved every minute of it.  It was hard work...but it was fun.  I was a substitute teacher for a while then I did all of the product ordering for two school supply stores...by hand. That was a joke.  Then I became a kindergarten aide for 5 years at a local elem school.  It allowed me to be home with my boys in the afternoon and summers.  And now I work at a financial institution crunching numbers again......I’m really geared to working with the public.  I love it....

    • Started in retail at a video rental/music store called The Wherehouse, moved on up to a similar type store called Licorice Pizza. After those, I went part time to a bank and part time with my dad’s accounting practice. I took over the accounting practice when my dad passed away and I also work in the health and wellness industry.
