    • I’d probably have to say a few of the migraines I’ve had or possibly a couple ear infections as a child.

Not sure really.  The broken nose was no picinic, nor was appendicitis.

    • Yes, Migraine like both of you ladies.  Nothing works on me, Imetirx, demoral, vicodin...none seem to work.  I have been to the point of vomitting and hospitalization where they had to give me a super duper strong shot of somehting.

    • Yeah Migraines are awful!  But besides the Migraines, The worst pain I have experienced Is when my Hips were flaired up. I didn’t know I had arthritis until the docotr took x-rays and told me thats what It was. I swear I thought I might have fractured or even broke a hip, thats how bad the pain was. I couldn’t walk or get out of bed without help.

    • For me there were two very painful experience. The first one was about six years ago,  when I came out of the shower too quickly and fell on by back and crushed my left wrist, my back was fine but as my surgeon said to me your wrist is like sand I had 4 pins put in and an external fixture they drill four screws, two in my hand and two in my forearm and contented it with a bar. Had 3 months of physical therapy because I’m double jointed in my wrist my doctor wanted them too both flex the same.

The second was just last year when I had to get a joint removed from my second toe on my right foot. I had a hammer toe and the doctor cut the tendon but it grew back and had more of an arch so it was very difficult to wear a shoe. So I had the surgery all went well they had to stick a needle threw my toe so it would stay straight and I had to wear a plastic cast for 8 weeks. In that time my soon to be X wanted me to redecorate the living room, dining room and kitchen. He didn’t thing all of the painting and sewing was going to bother me I ended up with a blood blister all back of my toe and into my foot. The STBX told me to get off my ass and do something. So stupid me did, so while I was painting and sewing curtains and redoing the dining room chairs, he went on and had an affair. I took Oxycodone for a week to get rid of the pain. And now I have a lawyer to get rid of the other “Pain“.

    • The worst migraines ever! I used to get the most severe ones that would affect my stomach, and I’d get so sick with bouts of diarrhea, constipation, nausea, and would throw up ALL at the same time! It was awful!! I was on so many meds but nothing ever helped. At least not until I started nutritional cleansing. It is the only thing that has ever helped. It doesn’t cure but my migraines are rare and if I get one, they are mild and very manageable. Also, it was no fun having laporoscopy’s after laporoscopy back when I had all my female issues.

    • My gall stones were pretty intense too.  I actually thought I was having a heart attack because the pain can radiate to the chest region.  I couldn’t even speak to the doctor.  Luckily I was at my friend’s office whose husband was a doctor.  They did the EKG and he noticed something was abnormal, so he put the cardiac pill under my tounge and then it got worse.  Next, very cute paramedics arrived and all I could think about was that I didn’t shave my legs, while they were putting the sticky electrodes all over my body and legs.  Then I finally said, “oh I’m sorry I didn’t shave my legs“, and the main paramedic said, “you‘re not having a heart attack if your first words are about your hairy legs“/  It was so funny but what a relief.

Long story short, it was gall stones and I had to have my gall bladder removed!  Yuk!tongue out

My back will go out and the pain is insane. Ultra spasms...ugg. I can’t even write about it.

I think I have an allergy to most pain medication, because I can never sleep if I have been given it and it seems to make me ich. Ugg. My daughter has had to help me go potty, etc. She’ll be scared for life!  “I have seen things, I should have never seen” she’s said. Great.

    • I had tendinitis in my writing hand, it produced a huge lump between my thumb and forefinger. It was so bad I couldn’t find a place to put my arm while sleeping. The pain was so intense it would wake me up, and there wasn’t enough painkillers in the world to help me get back to sleep. When I tried to lift my thumb it felt like someone shot me. When the doctor did the “does this hurt?” test on that hand, I was fine until he lifted the thumb. I screamed and cried. That was some major pain, y‘all hear me?

Had thermal treatments, cold packs, a DeQuervain splint for 6 weeks and it refused to go away. I got tired of all that pain; put my hand down flat, took a huge dictionary and slammed it down on the lump from about two feet up. I saw stars, moons and planets, but hey it worked! To this day I can’t use a pencil for any long period of time because the tendons just can’t take that any more.

My 3 c-sections were a breeze compared to my back.  I only felt like I did 1000 sit-ups!  But my back...OMG  But when Migrains stike, I forget my back pain!

    • Hmmm..honestly I am in pain every day, but muscle relaxers and an anti-inflammatory helps..other pain would be trying to squeeze my son’s head through my extremely small vaginal opening (according to the doc) and should have had an emergency C-section, but I pushed for 2 hours and his head was shaped like a huge cone...two ear surgeries, three abdominal surgeries, migraines, and a viral infection in 2008 that left me sick and in pain for six months which produced the Fibromyalgia..but why complain?..I’m still going strong!estaticestatic

They have since changed the flooring. The second time was when I recently feel and broken the bone holding my fourth toe in place on my right foot last november. It is still healing

    • Marya....LOL (not at your pain) but how you described your babies head!  Fortunately I had a c-section.

I would have to say my worst pain was while on a boat in the Bahama’s this idiot forgot to secure the anchor on the boat.  When he took off the anchor dropped and we were cruising along until it got hung up on something on the ocean floor.  The boat just stopped, reared up and the anchor came flying into the boat.  Hit my arm, broke it and the bone was sticking out.  It also hit my head.   Fortunately it hit my arm first otherwise I might not be here typing about it!  Anyway’s, we had a way’s to go to get back to shore and my husband and our friends kept saying “oh, it’s just a bad bruise“.    It seemed like it took forever to get to shore then when we did, they layed me on the beach and people circled me and stood there and stared like I was some beached whale!!!  The pain in my arm was so bad that I didn’t realize my head had been hit until I FINALLY got to the hospital and they informed me they need to “shave one side of my head for sutures“......  Had to have 2 surgeries when I got back to the states.  They put a plate in for 6 months while the bone mended back and then they went in and took it out.  Needless to say I have had better vacations!tongue out
