    • Annie, I used blogspot as well.  Unfortunately, I don’t have time to research others spots right now.  What are the issues you are having, I wonder if they are the same as mine.

    • I use blogspot too and I like it. It’s easy to put a paypal button up to sell things and I know they’ve just made available several new styles of templates. Lots of online tutorials on how to use certain features.

What problems are you having Annie?

    • I use LiveJournal, because it’s part of my membership with the Erotic Authors Association. Only thing I don’t like about it is I can’t save messages the old fashioned way. Once read, if I don’t check a box, it’s gone!

    • When I make a blog post, I tag it at the bottom with words pertaining to the topic. I recently had a woman from London searching through Google for a chocolatier on Maui who teaches chocolate making classes. She found me that way. I tag all my posts with Maui Chocolate and Maui Chocolatier and also Hawaiian Chocolate. Is that the information you‘re looking for? I haven’t heard of meta tags so I don’t know.

    • I have one for my site “(http:www.iusedtobecool.com/blog)“:[Link Removed] but I can never think of anything to write, so I’ve pretty much let it go.  I did alot of research on this, and found that Wordpress and Blogger are the best ones.  Blogger is way easier to use, but Wordpress has more features if you are more techie/want to monetize your blog with advertising.  I tried to advertise on Craigslist for someone to help me out with set my WordPress blog up and ended up with a TON of responses from people who had no idea about Wordpress at all.  A total waste of my time.  Good luck!

I've had bravenet and blogspot, but I prefer Wordpress.

I paid a a small amount and I can add all my own backgrounds my own html, etc.

I like the set-up as well!

    • I use blogspot... it has it’s limitations... but I found workarounds for most of them... it really is easy to set-up... you can find hundreds of templates online that you can use on blogger...

The set-up on blogspot (blogger) is quick and can be very simple depending on what you want to use it for ... I have a food blog so some things still are not available that I would like and I don’t care for some layout issues... but overall... it is a great starter tool.

I looked into wordpress and found it confusing.. albeit it’s been a couple of years since I tried it... I have an IT background and still had trouble..

Blogger has improved in the last year immensely... offering a lot more widgets or gadgets ...

    • Since I am an irregular amatuer I am perfectly fine using Blogger. I signed up on wordpress thinking I had to have an account to comment. But I haven’t done anything with it and find it slightly confusing.
