    • My mother collect owls for awhile, anything with an owl on it was fair game. She got so much stuff over a few years she had to tell everyone to stop!

I had a strange calling to collect gravy boats at one time. I started receiving gravy boats galore. I’ve since given many of them away.

Now I’m into toile - anything toile. I have a friend that send me fabric swatches in the mail! I have toile bowl, a toile apron, a small toile bag, toile curtains in my front room - I’m a toile fanatic.

I collect cat and dog figurines. My armore(sp) Is full of cats and doggie figuresestaticheart I also collect cows and roosters for my kitchen but not as much as I use too. I’m very fickle, I change my mind and I will start to collect other things. For awhile I was collecting old wedding photos I would see at the antiques mall. Then I was collecting M&M Items. I also collect shot glasses, when I know someone Is going out of town I will ask If they can bring a shot glass from there.happy Oh I almost forgot, I collect Angels and crosses. How could I forget thatheart

My mom collects little rubber ducks. Whenever I see an unusual one I just have to buy it for her. Last count she told me she had 116! That is a lot of rubber ducks!
      LOL!

    • I use to collect coffee cups every where I traveled, now I don’t because I don’t have anymore room to store them!  Now one of the things I collect is umbrella’s, I like colorful and whimsical umbrellas (and they‘re easier to store away). happy

    • I have a vast rubber stamp collection, the original Star Trek series stuff, magnets, dragons and lighthouses. Nothing’s taken over my place yet, everything has a place, it’s my art, paints & writings taking up space. I wish I had a back yard, I’d have a shed.

Frannie, I believe toile is French linen.

    • My parents and the parents of my husband collected such a lot of things, that when they died we had two houses full of things things things things and years of hard work to declutter. We were overwhelmed. It was sooo hard.
Now at age 42 we both agree that our children shall not see the same problem with us. happy
But we like collecting like anyone else. It’s a hard lesson to learn.
