    • I’m a big believer in exercise-both mental and physical.  I love to get lost in a really tough crossword and most days, I take a good long power walk.  I prefer walking outdoors, but if not I use my treadmill

    • I do take time for myself but it’s not very easy to do here. So, every few months, I get on a plane and come out to see my mother and friends in California. That brings me home, connects me with people I love and re charges my batteries.

    • I take time out for me by treating myself to a shopping spree, I get my nails done as often as needed, I like spending quite time alone with myself and to meditate on the goodness of God. I will plan on treating myself to a trip to California this summer to see my play brother for my birthday, but I’m always treating myself well.

    • No matter what happens, and how hectic my life gets, I make sure to read the book and attend my book club with six other of my girlfriends.

      When I can’t sleep I paint, that’s my therapy

    • I meditate...a good massage is always good...but simple things like taking time to breath, pray and enjoy the sunlight are somethings that keep me going.

Tune in tonight on Postcards from Oz as I will be interviewing Krizia Irish and Cindy Graham about their Meaning-to-Pause bracelet...a interesting item that helps/reminds you stop and Pause for moment.  We all need a little bit of that.. Right?!!

    • I do take time for myself because I believe it’s important to recharge the batteries.  Reading, exercise, conversation with girfriends.

But I usually have some nagging sense of guilt afterwards.  There’s always some lingering need to be filled that consumes my mind like a “coulda had a V8” guilt trip.  Wish I knew how to rid myself of that negative thought process.

    • I also take time for myself. I have learned the hard way that it is important to recharge physically, emotional and spiritually. I take the time for reading, journaling, meditating, prayer time  or rather quiet time with God, time with the dogs, conversation with girfriends. When I am able I take the time to treat myself to a shopping spree, manicures/pedicures  I enjoy creative projects too, anything from drawing with crayons, to sewing crafting projects
