Q & A

I’m getting tired of the same old boring salad.  Does anyone have any great salad recipes they would like to share?

    • Here is my favorite to make: Take some romaine lettuce, cherry tomatos, red, orange, bell peppers, broccoli flowers, pea pods, shredded carrots, onion, either dried cherries, or cranberries, apples diced, boiled eggs sliced, green olives, some pecan nut pieces, yellow mild peppers, and whatever your favorite salad dressing is toss it up and enjoy!happy

    • Here is my favorite ~ could eat it every night!
Mixed greens, strawberries, mango, pecans or nut of your choice, feta or gorganzola cheese with a raspberry vinegar dressing mixing the vinegar with olive oil and grey poupon mustard.  The dressing is 1/2 C of raspberry vinegar, 1/4 C of olive oil, 1 garlic clove and 1 Tbls of mustard.  Use your choice of herbs to the dressing.  Enjoy!

    • Mine is pretty plain but good...small wedges of tomato and red onion...add any creamy cream dressing...I guess it would go good with a vinaigrette.

Fresh button mushrooms mixed with french dressing....simple but delicious.

    • I like to make an antipasto style...red and green leaf lettuce, cubed mozzarella cheese, pitted sicilian olives, thinly sliced anchovy, cherry tomato, basil leaves, 1/4 tsp. minced garlic..season to taste with a bit of salt, cracked black pepper and the dressing to add is olive oil and red wine vinegar, which I usually just add to taste.  Enjoy!estatic
