Our son as a little kid was messy..always had toys thrown everywhere..lol..especially when his cousin came over, after he left, it looked like a cyclone hit our living room...he has gotten better, but thank God he’s older now!![]()
All of my children are messy, like their father...my oldest grew out of it when she was a teen...the rest still are messy no matter how much I keep after them. I gave up long ago fighting the Clutter Monster!!! It was always 6 against 1...at this point I do my best...my oldest complains...the rest ignore it until I force them to clean.
My My two oldest are messy although the 11 yr old has stints of wanting to keep her room spotless. My 6 yr old is a doll. She puts her clothes away and puts her toys where they are supposed to go after playing with them.
My oldest is a neat freak, her favorite activity is vacuuming ![]()
the others just don’t care if their room is messy or clean, but every Saturday for many, many years we had a room check, and if the room was messy and laundry wasn’t done, they were not going out that weekend. After few lonely weekends with no friends they all learned to take care of their rooms.
Now when they come home I don’t care about the mess, I just want them back, messy, loud and happy.
Both my girls are very neat, because of their up bringing ans it followed them.

Four terrible slobs. One became a very neat housekeeper. One improved, but it still a sloppy housekeeper. Not sure yet how the other two little piglets will turn out.

Our daughter was and still is a very neat. She has to have everything in it’s place...like her Mom!
Our Son was a little messy but now he is neat and cleans up after himself and helps me out when he visits. What a nice change that is!
I only have one and he is sorta neat. He makes his bed and doesn’t throw his clothes everywhere (not like I did growing up), but will pile his video games everywhere. Go figure.
I have messy boys, but it is confined to their room. They are not allowed to have any of their stuff in any other room. If they want to watch TV in another room they cannot bring any drinks or snacks, just their butts.
Both my guys are messy.. The youngest after awhile knows when it’s time to clean his room.. As for the oldest, not so much even though their doors are closed I still know it’s a mess..lol!!
I have two daughters that are two years apart. The oldest has always been a clean freak and the youngest is the messiest person I know!
I have two daughters...and they are like oil and water...total opposite...one is short the other is tall...one has long straight hair the other short and verrrrry curly...one is clean and the other messy! Unfortunately for me the one that is messy still lives at home! LOL
Messy but it was confined to his room like Lola’s kids. But, he did his own laundry and his own ironing. Go figure....
OCD about her room and her things but the rest of house a complete mess.
I used to spend days cleaning light switches as she used to nudge the lights on with her drink of juice and it would slosh down my cream walls and carpet.
Don’t even get me started on the sticky cup rings on furniture or the chaos making a drink or sandwich.
Today she blitzed the kitchen with baked beans don’t ask me how but the whole kitchen has baked bean juice everywhere !
