If you can choose your significant others only by occupation, what occupation will that be? and why?
Interesting question. I think I’m like Annie. Occupation wouldn’t matter much. I know wonderful men in all sorts of occupations, but I wouldn’t choose any one of them based on what he does.
I probably wouldn’t marry a mechanic again. That means you never have anything reliable to drive. (Rather like the shoemakers children go barefoot; the mechanics wife is always stranded somewhere with a broken down car.)

If I HAD to choose a man by occupation only, I’d pick a farmer/rancher every time.
Tulip
Tulip, my hubz is a mechanic and keeps our cars in tip top shape, like new !
while occupation is not important overall to me. If I was to answer your question, I would choose a Doctor
Occupations isn’t important to me either but if I had to choose it would be a NASCAR driver. I would get to go to all the races and travel. It would be a lot of fun and I love the sport!
I would love a stay at home dad, who takes excellent care of the kids, like mom would, but one who would not just stay and home and watch the tube...he would have to be completely involved in the children’s every move and then, of course, be there for me when I need him! ha!
Is that too much to ask for??? lol
I would say musician/artist/martial artist because I love the soul of the artist... and usually a martial artist is also musical and artsy
I will chose a Vet for I think they got to be patient and loving.
CD, I know a really good vet who is one of the most cold, unloving men I’ve ever met.
Tulip
business tycoon, knowing he’ll have to do a lot of traveling for business trips and all and if I get tired of him in my way I can have my space lol.

I don’t know, what I do know is it wouldn’t be a business man that travels (Sorry Neicy) that’s what broke up my marriage. I wouldn’t mind a massage therapist I love my back and of course other parts massaged. But as long as they were happy and made decent money I wouldn’t care what they did. I nice plastic surgeon would be good right about now thou. LOL
Until next time...![]()

Self made Billionaire! I would never have to work again. I could do the things that I wanted to do. I love volunteering and would spend most of my time doing that.
@ Denise, yes, a plastic surgeon may be a good thing.
@ Tulip, thank you for the thoughtfulness. Let me have more animals first so the Vet can take free care of them.
A businessman- I love the way guys look in a suit and they make good money too!
Oops, @ Tulip, mis-read your answer. Sorry. That’s not nice to be cold and be a vet.
Actually, I am married to a sexy truck driver! I don’t know what occupation I would choose, I just knew I would not marry anyone with a seasonal job.
a talented photograper, i love photos of family, friends, scenery....they are my good and bad memories
