    • The only good diet soda I’ve tasted is diet Dr. Pepper.  As far as sugar, I think it’s addictive and you almost have to go cold turkey.

    • A good sugar substitute is Stevia, or Truvia, its supposed to be natural. And I either drink water or sometimes Propel water.

    • Don’t go to diet soda. It is better to drink regular Mt. Dew if you are drinking it.

I used to be addicted to Coke but found that it 1. Leaches the calcium from your bones and 2. Has phosphoric acid in it which is used in cleaning products!

I just stopped drinking it. After 30 days, you will be fine. I started drinking green tea with ginseng and honey in it.

I also use aguave nectar instead of sugar. It is still sweet but better for you. I don’t like the artificial sweeteners.

    • When you are addicted your body craves your addiction.  But if you give it up, after a month you will no longer even want sugar or soda.  So,yeah, I think cold turkey is the only way to go with a sugar addiction.  I drink a lot of water with a splash of lemon juice in it.  The lemon juice helps detoxify your body and it adds a little flavor.  Good luck with this adventure.  You will feel sooo much better in a month.

    • Club soda! It’s carbonated so you get the fizz and you can “dress” it up with a squeeze of lime or lemon. I think you may think it’s just the just the sugar you want, but Mt Dew is heavy on caffine. Try black or green tea for easing off the Mt Dew, and fizz from club soda is going to help get over the hump of your Mt Dew addiction.

      Hoping the best for you!
