I do part and my husband does part...we have a too large lawn...more like a field really. If we don’t keep the meadow down near the house it attracts rodents & bugs. ICK.
We don’t bag however, mulch. Which means it takes less time but we have to do it more often.
I am so allergic to grass but I have to do it. I can’t afford a service to mow it for me. So I suck it up pop my pills drops in my eyes and bandana around my face and off I go. I look like I am trying to hold up the lawn. LOL. I bag my grass and use it as mulch in my garden and around my plants. I was told yesterday that I am so country by my nieghbor. LOL let him pay for the wood mulch mine is free.
no, our gardener does. lol
But our son will be doing it as soon as we buy a new mower!
It’s not going to get done unless I do it. When my allergies are really bothering me, especially in July, I have to wear a dust mask and take a shower as soon as I’m done.
Just trying to decided right now if I want a nap now, or after I mow the back half of the lawn. I think nap now is going to win.

Yes I do mow the lawn. I have been mowing grass since I was in junior high. My dad taught me how and it use to be a ritual especially in the spring and summer months of me getting up on a Saturday morning..going out and mowing our very large front yard and backyard with a push mower. When I got finished I would put out the sprinkler and water it. I love the smell of a fresh cut grass!
Now...my son cuts it (that’s his business) and I cut it every now and then. I actually like to cut grass! But then again...I love working in the yard period.
Our sons mow it but I do every once in a while. I do the edging and flowerbeds. My stepson loves to mow then water the grass and we sit outside sipping a cold drink and talk. a one on one moment over a sprinkler and lawn mower but I won’t trade it.
When i was in my own home I loved doing the lawn, I honestly banned my hubby from doing it because he wasn’t garden savy nor is he a yard person. One year I gave him a try and he killed my lawn too much fertilizer and not enough watering.

Our homeowners association has a lawn service who does all of our homes.
no, but I suppose w/ the talent our gardener has, we wouldn’t do much worse that he does...
All the time, unless I am ill..then hub or son will tackle the job..love to mow, weed, plant, mulch and even look for worms to feed our pond fish...hub gets very involved with the bird feeders and special plants that attract hummingbirds, butterflies and bees..that’s his game!
No, the maintenance people at the school do it. We live on 2 acres and most of our landscape is natural so we tend to let it go.
I normally mow the lawn. right now because of my foot I am unable to do so and I really miss it.
