    • I have really enjoyed the tributes today. He was so talented. The music, the times I remeber, my first celebrity crush, my first concert, my first teenage dance, my first kiss. I really need to look at my old pictures of him. I have a picture from thier first concert after they signed with Motown. My first time standing in line to obtain an autograph. My autographs. My first meeting that my Uncle arranged to meet with them while I was in elementary school. My Uncle kept warning him that they were fast and to watch myself and that he was watching me like a hawk. It was a great time. I did not know what he was talking about. I had to ask my Mother afterwards What great memories

    • It is so surprising that it’s been a year.  I watched a program about his children the other evening.  He was such a good dad.  It’s really a shame that his children won’t have him to continue to influence them.  I think he was a positive influence because he knew what it felt like to be at the top and the bottom.  He also wanted people to know about caring for others.  So we didn’t just lose one of the best entertainers of our time but also a human being with a huge heart.
