Is there a gentle way to tell your husband that you might be more interested in sex if he lost weight? And maybe stopped watching so much tv?
My hubby does not have a weight issue...But I wish he would stop watching tv the way he does...I watches it until he fall asleep in the couch...I hate it
I’m not too subtle so I shouldn’t comment... but...
Watch with him and every time you see a fit man make a comment about, how fit he looks and how sexy that looks on men... how it could really get this girl going if her man started shedding the pounds and coming to bed earlier instead of watching tv so much. The man I am with recently lost about 90 lbs and it makes a world of difference with sex let me tell yah!! Woooo Hooo!
Talk to him, explain how you feel in a non threatening way, be gentle but, get the point across, even if you have to tell him you’ll work with him on the weight loss effort, just talk to him and show him love and support all the way.
"As you open the door to new relationships and remove the chain from your own fears, God will overwhelm you with new splendor."
I probably wouldn’t take the obvious approach.... Men being stubborn and all would probably do the opposite.
So I would manipulate the situation......
When he turns on the TV thentake things into your own hands. B.O.B can be your best friend and if you tell your hubz he can either join you or you‘re going it alone. Do this enough nights in a row and he will join in.
As for the weight issue change what's in the house. Make him work (and work hard) for the bad foods. If he makes comments say something like "I'm just trying to help s both be a little healthier so we have the energy to be _____. Tell him you want to go for leisurly strolls after dinner (hold hands) and make it romantic.
Sometimes you gotta fake it till you make it! (And I’m not talking about in bed either!!!)

I like Vikki’s advice too!
"As you open the door to new relationships and remove the chain from your own fears, God will overwhelm you with new splendor."
I’m single so I would have to say if I were married and my husband was packing on the pounds, there are exercise routines strictly for couples which may serve two purposes, re-connect intimacy-wise and lose the weight. I’m not too sure what could get him away from the tv or computer except for a well-timed power outage and a slinky negligee LOL.
I do like Vikki’s suggestions and did you know that having sex burns off a huge amount of calories? Fiber is our best foods for filling us up and cutting calories. Maybe invest in a Wii
system to have fun together? Mention being healthier and wanting him around a long, long time! His waist size shrinking is good for his heart and he won’t feel so tired.
My best to you,
