I remember up to just before I got married (11 years ago) I use to crochet and I use to get so lost into what I was doing. When I was through I felt so rested and refreshed even after hours of doing it
Interior Decorating, I love taking a dull room and redoing it making it pop with personality and style.
"As you open the door to new relationships and remove the chain from your own fears, God will overwhelm you with new splendor."
Redecorating my home, when I complete the task and stand off and look I get a great sense of accomplishment and feel good. I love sitting by any type of water, beach, pool, river it gives me some spark.
Gardening. I can (and did today) come home from work hurting so badly I can hardly move. But I wander out to the garden and the next thing I know, I’ve been weeding and watering and bending and doing thing I wouldn’t have thought I was able to do, and I’ve been there for half an hour or an hour.
Tulip
Getting my watercolor paper out and illustrating whatever I feel like with painting and drawing.
It makes me feel special and reminds me of my talents and its very rejuvenating !
I love to read too. My hobby, scrapbooking, I find to be stressful as I never seem to get enough done!
I would love to try gardening and belly dancing...I wonder if they would give me that same feeling
going to music class and learning to read and write music. playing the piano.
I love gardening, woodworking, sewing (I love remodeling clothes) and playing my violin does it for me every time! ;o)) But I don’t know if it’s considered a hobby? I just asked this question a little while ago.
