If your child had a condition that caused them to have rages, and threaten to hurt themselves, but had never really done it, would you have your them committed at 8 years old?
that is scary.... to have a child commited, better read the forms CAREFULLY. I had a horrible time with that.... turned into a nightmare... ‘nuff said for now

I’d try a psychiatrist and other doctors . Committing an 8 year old seems rash.
