    • I was once evicted from my apartment, and the moving company pulled a fast one and made me pay for an extra hour, then didn’t move the stuff up to the storage space. It took 5 people an hour to pack the truck, took me 5 hours by myself (on an empty stomach) to move it from the loading dock into the space. Then after all that, some shit that worked in the storage place helped himself to my last $20 leaving me just enough for subway fare to get to my grandmother’s. On my birthday, no less.

    • Back when I had absolutely no energy, was gaining so much weight (just looking at food would cause my body to gain)and living my life going from dr to dr battling female, gastrointestinal, sensitive to light, noise, sound, and all my joints hurting and yet not knowing why exactly, and feeling like the hypochondriac, knowing they were saying “here she comes again” and feeling so sad and blue, and those feelings of not wanting to go on with life anymore! It was such a sad and lonely place to be. I felt so alone and just knew no one understood how I felt, and how badly I didn’t want to feel anymore. I’m just blessed that God answered my prayers when I reluctantly said yes to that little brown box that arrived at my door and changed my entire life! All I know is that I NEVER want to go back to that place...EVER again!

Sorry didn’t mean to go on and on...

    • I have had so many.....My hubby job takes him overseas months at a time...He was once in Tortola for 1 year.
When he was in Chicago for 5 months allot was happening at home....I always felt like a single parent as the kids were so young. As I sit and remember these times I start to relive the painful feeling I had. I don’t ever want to experience those times againfrown

    • I felt most alone when my husband and best friend passed away living in another country with a child to look after and no money to pay the rent, food or even go back to the States, till this day I am still away from family and friends and all I knew in the past;  I have never felt as alone at that moment.

    • Thanks Suzann!...in 2008, when I suffered a mini stroke after complications of a virus that I contracted and came very close to dying, never in my life did I feel completely alone, even though family was around me, the fear and isolation inside was devastating and only through our divine Lord was I able to come back, it left me a bit broken, but I am still here!happy
