    • Try taking antihistamine maybe it’s allergies, if that doesn’t work, see a doctor.

I coughed for a months, then ended up taking antibiotics for ten days.

    • I was told to put mentholadeum (sp?) on the bottom of your feet at night...and it will stop the cough.  No lie.  I have not tried it but I know someone who did and it worked.

Also..old southern remedy...get a bottle of old Rock n Rye liqour...(its a dark cheap whiskey)...mix with some honey....heat it up...and drink it up!

Prescription wise when I’ve had a lingering cough....get your dr. to write for some Tessalon Pearls...(they are gel looking pills)..they work too.

    • Similar to Mary’s, I mix rum with orange juice, add some honey and lemon juice, warm it, and just sip it slowly. It tastes just awful, but it’s always worked.

    • Depends on the source of your cough. Most people don’t know that asthma causes a cough reflex. Get your cough checked out by a doctor, is my suggestion.

    • Might be allergies, or it may even be something you‘re cleaning with. Switch up your cleaning solutions and see if that suppresses it. I’m fond of Sambucol, which is made from elderberry extract. They have liquid, tablets, even sugar free. I took the tablets to get rid of a nasty cold, and boy did it work like a charm! I have a full course of antibiotics in here and didn’t need them because Sambucol did what it promises to do!

    • Do you have acid reflux? AR can also cause a cough. I worked with a lady that had a horrible cough. She was treated over and over for the cough, but was eventually diagnosed with acid reflux. Once treated for the AF, it also treated the cause of the cough.

    • I just had a terrible flu and now I have a cough!  I think it may be bronchitis.
