    • Unfortunatately yes!  A customer owes $$$ and refuses to return my calls, fax’s, etc.  So I mailed him a certified letter and gave him 30 day’s to pay up and look’s like he’s still ignoring me so I’ll have to go file on him 8/27.  I finally decided to start taking these dead beat customer’s to court rather than just writing it off to bad debt.  And get this Judy, the guy is a former Mayor!  Now I know why he’s a “former” mayor!tongue out

    • Also, the guy’s office is close to our home and I told hubby I’d like to go in with the paper work but he won’t let me!  I’ve really had it with people who don’t pay these days!!!

    • Yes and I won the case. The guy said I “gave” him $3,000 but I actually loaned him the money. I produced the cancelled check with “personal loan” in the memo line. Apparently the idiot didn’t look there as he was in a rush to endorse and cash it.

    • The really crappy thing about it is (and he’s not the only one) is that I tryed to work with him for the longest.  Asked him to make partial payments of at LEAST $50 and he said “no, I can’t do that.  It would cost me too much in checks” Huh??????  Sheesh.........some people!
