I use a handmade organic soap geared to my needs and water. But got a question on why and oil free makeup remover is preferred?
Cathie
I like the oil free ones as it is quick and easy. Also I got the mary kay ones for half off as a friend was closing her shop.
Thanks for the explanation. After I asked I realized the best reason Not to use a oil based makeup remover is so it doesn’t get in our eyes! duh.... LOL

I found a product by Clarins that is a gel and melts every trace of makeup including waterproof mascara. I use it every night

This stuff is amazing and it’s concentrated so it lasts a long time.
I use eye make-up remover from Sephora called FACE. It works great also.
I use a Beauticontrol product called Lash & Lid to take my eye makeup off. Not only does it take the make up off but it also conditions my eyelashes. I love it.
The rest of my face I use Beauticontrol’s Skinlogics Clear...cleaner that is a gel and completely oil-free. Works great followed by the oil free toner.
I guess that means you need to wear makeup first huh. Ok I have on occasion and use whatever is available. I am also only 5 points away now to move to the next level on here, yippee.
Thanks guys....I use to use vaseline petroleum jelly many years ago and it affected my vision. I have been using soap since that time and I find the process very messy and harsh for my eyes. I think I will try the oil free remover
