I saw “Inception” last night. I think I grasped most of it, but it was very complicated. Do you see a movie to relax and be entertained, or do you truly want to be challenged mentally?
I watch movies to be entertained, thrilled, educated, a vsriety of reasons depending on my mood and the season. At Christmas I can not miss “It’s A Wonderful Life or “A Christmas Carrol“. Right about now I would love to see some vintage Doris Day musicals like “The Lullaby of Broadway“. I’m just all over the place and that is pretty much me
Both, but something like that I would probably watch at home where I could pause, rewind in case I missed something.
I don’t generally watch movies to learn. It’s usally a form of entertainment for me. There are some movies tho that I end up learning from

I did not get Pulp Fiction till I was drunk, that being said I watch movies to be entertained. I like them to make me think too. If a movie can do both of those then its a winner in my books.
Both and it depends on my movie “mood“. Can’t go to a movie theater so I rented or bought movies (sometimes bought ones I rented and liked). I have a diverse collection of movies.

Usually entertainment. By the time I make it to the theater I am wiped out after having to deal with the daily grind. I have to be in the mood to be challenged and then it is better at home.
We saw this movie for our anniversary last month in August and I liked it. I think if I had not read the reviews prior to going I would have been more confused.
I usually watch movies for entertainment only not to learn stuff.
I still have no idea what this movie is about and haven’t seen it. I may or may not watch it on TV if it does hit the small screen.
Diane17, it’s nice to see you getting to know all of us. ;oD
