You might try elance.com, freelance.com, ifreelance.com. You bid on projects that interest you. It’s not very dependable, though, as far as steady income.
Another idea: I'm not doing it any more, but a few years ago I took courses in futures trading. We traded on the Russell 2000 which (at least back then) was a mini-platform (smaller than the big Dow type things). With the right training, you can do quite well and they teach you how to totally control your risk. (I didn't do well because I couldn't control my impulsive desire to jump into trades without analying them first.) The training is the most important factor as far as risk-management. I studied with Michael Guess [Link Removed] and he was excellent.

Examiner is a great way to earn some income from home. They are consistently looking for Great Writer's to join the Examiner Team. If you have the skills required and a subject you have a great amount of knowledge in you may be accepted as a Writer for Examiner. I just want to add - this has been bothering me all day - if you decide to dip a toe into trading futures or being a day trader, it does require some upfront investment (backup batteries for your computer and other safety measures), and the main thing is that you never ever want to be “taken in” by anyone’s “get rich schemes,” and there are tons of them out there in the day trading world. Everyone and their dog has a plan that will make you a gajillion dollars in 2 days. That’s why the training is so important, and getting the training from a reputable person is so important.
Try commission junction. You can be an affiliate of many different companies. It might take some learning. I wish I had started that years ago. It’s not my company, by the way.
