    • If she was employed at the time of the accident and worked consecutively for six weeks at the time of the accident, then I believe she is entitled to compensation. If the accident happened during her work and the injury is work related, she will have to go under Workman’s comp.

I think if you call you Employment Office, they will tell you for sure

    • I do know that usually everyone is automatically turned down at first—you have to pursue it. this is to deferr those who don’t really need it. I advise talk to her doc to have a back up. I had to have my doc write a letter to appeal. They do give a retroactive payment from the time you apply

    • She can try it. They will turn her down the first time.

They turned me down, I appealed and finally got it. It’s a screwed system. My attorney showed me things I cringed at. Drug addicts on medications to stop, get it first time ‘round many times. Pissed me off as here I am with a real disease I had no control over and there is no rehab for and they get it before me. heartbreak

Make sure she has all her medical records together and a doctor that will concur with he ailments. The doctor is key, at least in my case he was. Normally the appeal can take up to or over a year. He ripped them a new one when they denied me. Mine took 2 months.
