Colon Cleanse-has anyone tried this and does it help lose weight? I was sick from something called c-difficil I actually got while in the hospital from an anti-biotic. I ended up for 2 wks in the bathroom-which led to 10lb weight loss. Wondering if a cleanse will do the same?
I personally have never gone for a colon cleanse but I have several friends who do when the seasons change! They all go to this man in the country...Dr Green. He’s sort of a holistic doctor but has people who fly in from all over the world (no kidding) to have their colon cleansed.
My one friend that goes says after you have it done you just feel so great and even your eyesight seems so clear! I don’t think it’s going to make you lose a lot of weight but it does keep the pipes working as they should and gets rid of alot of toxins and bad bacteria. I know after they have it done they eat yogurt for several days...such as Activia. On friend that goes suffered with major stomach troubles for years...sort of like IBS. Now...all that is gone as long as she goes 4 times a year.
That is all I know...
I would say the same as you maryclark, my friend also swears by them and she is now totally healthy, having lost a full ten pound the first visit, 3 or 4 pound thereafter, she no longer suffers from constipation, bloatedness etc and manages ther gym every morning at 6 a.m before work. She too eats Activia as part of her daily diet. I must admit it has made me curious
