    • So technically it’s the last weekend of Oktoberfest but most people here will celebrate all month long. What’s your plans?

    • Funny thing we never really do anything for Oktoberfest either though Joe is 100% German and I’m half. I’ll have to give it some thought and do something this year. I really like German food. My mom used to make it sometimes for my dad so I have fond memories of it as a child.

      What are your plans, Vikki?

    • Not me as I’m not a beer drinker.  I did go once, however, to a sausage festival in Umberger, Texas.

    • We celebrate our 25th anniversary on Tuesday and were thinking of heading to a winery today down in New Jersey for an overnight stay and then tomorrow they were hosting a big Oktoberfest party, but decided to stay home and have a glorious evening to ourselves as our son will be gone overnight..can’t wait for the lobster tail, filet mignon, champagne!...tomorrow I am thinking of cooking some sort of veal dish to honor Oktoberfest as hub is half German and I am a small amount of German on my biological father’s side.
