You run into your old boyfriend and he’s with his new girlfriend. Do you hope she’s prettier than you so you can be insanely jealous and hate her, or hope she’s a dog so you can pity her?
I know this sounds like a silly question, but I just ran into an old flame today (and he’s still HOT) and he had his new girlfriend with him. She’s very homely and I found myself wishing she was way prettier than me so I’d have an excuse to hate her. Sounds petty I know.

I would hope I would have no feelings either but I guess I do. Whenever we have family things and my ex hubz is there I always wonder what he sees in in wife. She isn’t ugly she’s just frumpy. And then I get mad at myself for being so shallow and mean.....

There was a boy that was in love with me when we were 14, 15, I never really cared for him, and never even wanted to go out with him. Years later, when I heard he got married, my first reaction was (pissed off) what???he now likes someone else?

I can totally relate, but, in my case, it was my wonderful post college boyfriend who got married. How dare he get over me?!
My ex-husband’s new wife is short, plain, and dumpy, but i feel sorry for her for being stuck with him.
Well, call me petty! LOL I couldn’t see what the X saw in either of his girlfriends. The kid was dumb as wood, plain and over weight, but flat chested. Girlfriend #2 had me wondering why she didn’t get a nose job .... she’d be pretty if she did. Seriously, her nose is gawd awful ugly!
I didn’t envy or pity either of them, but I was curious of how #2 got him to clean himself up for her. LOL
