Has anyone had, or know of anyone who had, surgery to remove excess skin after a dramatic weight loss? How did it go?
Hi catfan, A co worker did. I believe it went fairly well. Last time I saw her(only see her at conference in Vegas) she looked good but still need to tone she said her recovery time varied depending on the surgury. She said it was her upper arms that hurt the most and took longer recover time.
My friend did about a year after she had gone through gastric band surgery.
She had her breasts reduced, along with having excess skin removed from her arms and skin removed around her stomach as well. She was going to have her legs done as well but I’m not sure that she’s done that yet.
She said it was painful but worth it, and also that her arms hurt more than her stomach hurt.
Hi there... I went with a close friend to Argentina where she did just that. I went to help her through her surgery. It was half price and she did have a minor infection issue I think. But as far as the surgery was concerned, it went fairly well and i know that she is glad she did it. Very glad.
