    • Talk to God. Self talk. Get a friend to encourage me.

    • One step at a time.  Action first - do a little, then a little, than another little, little by little, you will be out.

    • Just go do something that is outside of your usual routine.  Get a different haircut or color.  Go grocery shopping at a totally different store than the one you usually go to.  Be open to possibilities!

For me, I got out of a rut a couple years ago by going to the local bar.  After sitting around with the local barflies a couple different evenings, I decided my life looked pretty darn good.

    • I think being more active helps.  Can you up your exercise level or go out with friends/join a group/Bible study a couple of times a week? heart

    • I'm feeling in a bit of a rut myself lately, so last Friday I went to look at a little A frame cabin on 5 acres for sale, though I don't yet have the settlement to buy a place. It's not a do-able home for me, I'd need a snow mobile in winter to get down to my truck parked down off the ridge by the highway. And it's totally off the grid. It was fun thinking about how to make it work though.

I’m going to continue looking at properties for the fun of it with the thought it may stir up the energy for a change of some sort.

    • I start making list daily, of the things I need to do then I start doing them, and just focus of the action the task and pray, talking to good friends then before I know it I have moved beyond it

    • Wow, am I ever changing things up! LOL  I just ordered some cordaroy in deep, dark purple to make a cover for the old love seat, along with fabric for new throw pillow covers. Tired of placid colors in tones of greens and browns, but have to admit it took me over an hour to go with this bold move out of my comfort zone and out of my rut.  ;oD
