    • I’ve tried eating 5 smaller meals a day and really prefer to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I will sometimes have a piece of fruit or a handfull of chips or nuts in the afternoon. I seem to eat more and am hungry all day long if I eat smaller meals more often.

    • I kind of change my eating routine around. The earlier I get up, the more smaller, more frequent meals I may have. For example, I may have a veggie omelette for breakfast, then about 3 hrs later, have my shake, then either a meal replacement bar or another shake for lunch, a healthy snack a couple of hrs later, and then dinner. Or if I find that I want to drop a few lbs, I have a shake for breakfast, a healthy, heartier lunch, and another shake for dinner. Of course, the harder my work outs and the more calories I burn, the more I will eat so that my body will not go into stavation mode.

    • Yes, I eat 3 meals a day and try to eat some healthy snacks in between like fruit or granola bars.  However, I have found, at least for me, those healthy snacks don’t fill me up. worried

    • Annie I get that way sometimes and for me I think it’s hormones. My moods are usually off during that time,too.

      I think it’s better since I’m exercising again. I finish a workout in the morning and have a protein shake for breakfast since I’m thirsty and hungry at the same time. Then have lunch around 11:00. I’m a 4:30 A.M. riser so 11:00 is a good lunch time for me.

      Around 3:00 in the afternoon I get munchy so that’s when I have a snack. I usually go out and water the garden afterward so I don’t do overboard with the snack. By the time Joe gets home around 4:00 we sit and visit then I start dinner, which we eat at 5:00. Luckily, I’ve never been a night time eater. Once I have dinner that’s usually it.

    • Three meals a day for sure.  Some days I just eat all day long.  This time of year though, I just grab a bite of whatever, whenever I happen to have time.

    • I have skipped breakfast for years, and my frist meal doesn't come mosttimes until after around 1pm, then I eat and then eat again for dinner around 6-7pm. I know people NOT good .tongue out

    • Honestly, eating is not my delight when I eat by myself or cook for myself.  So, eating is not a priority or enjoyment for me but it is simply a necessity.  

      So 2 to 3 max a day.  No snack either.

    • I usually only eat breakfast when I’m at work, so 3 times a day Monday thru Friday. Saturday & Sunday I usually eat a decent lunch and dinner and that’s about it.

    • 3 times a day, usually and 2 snacks a day, usually. I try not to eat after 8 pm, but I won’t go to bed hungry because it keeps me from getting a good sleep.

    • Cynthia, I tried six small meals a day 1 1/2 years ago and it was great, then all of a sudden since the beginning of this year, back to three meals a day (somewhat smaller portions), but I have to snack mid morning and mid afternoon..maybe our bodies go through changes yearly and this accounts for the eating pattern to fluctuate...thank God I love fruit which accounts for most of my snacking.happy
