My mom in laws about to be publish. Not a plug I read above anything else and her series took my breath away. I kid u not.
‘CROSS’ series by James Patterson are awesome.
‘If Tomorrow Comes’ by Sidney Sheldon [and anything else Shelon wrote. All excellent!]
Another great book just to have for the fun of it;
“1o,ooo ways to say I love you” [found at Barnes n Noble]
The Bridges of Madison county. I am a sucker for a good romance story.
I love the Cross series by Patterson, I don’t have any particular favorites but love to read, just finished reading Twisted by Jonathon Kellerman and enjoyed that.
I can’t come up with just one book, I’ve been reading since a kid and by now there’s too many “best novel ever” to count.

There a a couple jostling for the ‘best’ but I have to say The Thornbirds by Colleen McCullough.
I don’t have a “best ever“. I read a lot and have many favorite authors, but that changes depending on my mood. Last summer I read “When Crickets Cry” which I thought was excellent and made a lasting impression on me.

“Ancient Evenings” by Norman Mailer

I love mysteries-but I’ve read 3 in the last year that have blown me away:
Falling into the Sun by Charrie Hazard
Chased by Demons by Jacqueline Grossman
Crazy Love by Leslie Morgan Steiner
