I love sports cars, American ones to be exact. I would get any old Mustang that has been primo customized by Mr. Carroll Shelby, the Mustang guru!
For the hubby it would be to customize his old (1980) Corvette that is sitting in the garage. He has a 2004 ‘Vette, but he misses driving his original baby.

Ingrid, here’s another one. I’ve been driving corvettes since 1982. I’ve had three. The last one was a ‘94 that was totaled shortly after moving it to Maui. I love Vettes. I miss mine a lot.
I drive a Saab convertible now and it’s ok, but not my first choice. My husband drives a Mercedes. I think if I had my choice I’d get a Mercedes C class convertible. stylish, not too flashy for around town driving and finding a mechanic wouldn’t be a problem.
That’s too funny! So, your ‘82 Vette(I’m assuming you had an ‘82) was the last of what they call the Mako shark era. With the cutouts on the sides. Everyone thinks his is a Stingray, but it’s not old enough.
I went to Hallmark today and got him an ornament that is a ‘63 Corvette Z06, because his ‘04 is a Z06.
I love American Sports cars. On our first date, my husband and I went to a Chevy dealership to look at Corvettes! He could not believe that a girl liked sports cars.
I would buy one of the newest Corvettes! And it would be a convertible.
