    • In todays world everything is about being perfect. Some women are up for the challenge and some just want to take care of themselves without competing with the 20 year olds.

I always thought that getting older with grace with very chic, I have to say that I’m probably one of the few that think this way.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about looking good and taking care of your skin, but just not trying to hard doing it.

My secret weapon is my own cream that I make for my face, lots of water, 8 hours of sleep and olive oil.

      What’s your secret?

    • The older I get the more I realize that getting enough sleep is very important to my skin. Good nutrition, too. I have been known to spend a lot of money on skin creams but taking care of skin from the inside out trumps everything.

    • Eva I’ve started using some of the Olay products lately. They’ve really come a long way.

    • Vitamin D3 in liquid form, “Roc” face lotion (it doesn’t irritate my chemical sensitive skin), only lukewarm water when washing my face & neck, a soft scrub of St. Johnswort oil with baking soda mixed into it once a month. (The SJW is skin healing.)  Now & then to be girly for a spa type facial, I use fresh (peeled) cucumber all over my face. That feels really good!

    • For me, I use stuff that hasn’t been tested on animals, and am moving toward vegan products. It’s the only way I can feel beautiful - I just don’t feel beautiful if I know my actions are part of some other creature’s death.

(Hope I didn’t put a damper on the discussion. I know I’m considered “quirky” and my grandkids tell me I’m “weird“, but what can you do. happy  )
