Q & A

If you had an opportunity to move, where would you go and why?  I want to find a new place to live “without annoying neighbors” and I am looking to buy not rent.

    • New Mexico. I moved from Staten Island, N.Y. 18 years ago to Utah. 2012 will make  years here. I am sick of the snow and ready for 300 days of sunshine. And Utah is booming right now and New Mexico is still a small population state.

    • I would move to Italy for six months, and then to South of France for six month. A year later I would have to think where I would actually live, but the idea of living in several different places through out the year is very appealing to me.

I don’t speak Italian or French, so annoying neighbors wouldn’t bother me, I wouldn’t know what they are complaining about. estatic

    • Good point! Funny.  I love to travel too.  I have thought about buying a motorhome and traveling and living in it.  My husband is not real well.  Has issues and does not want to be to far from hospitals.

    • After I get the divorce settlement I’m moving to a small town south and east of where I live and it’s because I like living in small towns and I have family living there. It’s a beautiful area, woodsy like here, but less snow to deal with. It’s a short drive to a small city and not a long drive to visit friends here.

    • Yana, lol.

People think I’m nuts but I’m so sick of living on Maui I could scream. Too many reasons to mention.

I’m a native Californian and we bought a home there for our retirement in 5 years. But I like the idea of trying some different states like Texas or Arizona or Nevada. I’ve thought about Austin, Flagstaff, Prestcott and Carson City. Joe was offered a job running a school in Reno but we said no. He loves his job here and didn’t want to leave it. I concur with that. He has a great job. The school he runs is wonderful and his bosses are the best.

    • I would move to Maine. I have no problem with the snow (it’s the ice that will do you in) and in the summer, the beaches there are so clean and some are rather deserted. But New York is where I was born and raised, I love my state.
