Q & A

Do You Think The Movie Industry Went To Far?

The nominees to receive the most prestigious awards in the music industry, the Grammy Awards, were just announced. Among the five nominees for Record of the Year is a song titled “F—- You,” with the F-word, of course, spelled out and pronounced.

Leave it to Denis Prager to say it how it is.

    • Personally, I think it’s outrageous. What message are we sending our kids?

    • Remeber the song of the year during the Academy Awards a few years ago? Something about it being Hard to be a Pimp? That just sent us over the edge. Hollywood is getting stranger and stranger every year.

    • Thats Hollywood for you.  It is sad to see that our kids and the world have to be exposed to such vulgarity and then have it rewarded.

    • Sure we’ve all seen Hollywood doing strange things over the years and embracing the vulgarity and profanity, is there an end to this??? or are we just falling deeper and deeper, and what about our kids? grandkids?

Remember when using a word “bitch” earned you a slap on the face? Now, it’s all over television....so sad...

    • Because Hollywood is “ok” with vulgarity and profanity they will not determine my self worth nor respect for  myself or for others.  We are water-washing the core values of life and it is only our kids are going to suffer then we wonder what happen to them when we helped to lead them to failure.  I donot have to accept Hollywood standards and I will not.

    • Well we can only set the standard for our kids and ourselves.
Do not buy the albums or see the movies or watch the tv shows. Reality tv is far worse than this song for our kids.

I found the song amusing. He got dissed by a girl who only cared about money and he let he know what he thought.

If this offends no one should have tv in their homes. Reality tv, is scripted people and it does not reflect real life.
I block lots of channels and hopefully it will help.

Honestly kids hear far worse things at school and with friends.
