    • Joe’s sister is here from California. We’ll pick up our granddaughter, open presents and then I think we‘re making a tenderloin of beef for dinner.

      What are you doing, Myrna?

    • OMG, Angel, talk about Surprise! LOL  Look for one of those pop turkey timers when you buy the turkey and other fixings. It’s 20 minutes per pound cooking time at 325. Assign tasks to as many people as available and it will be fun! Good luck!

    • I was offered a Spa Day for Christmas Day at a place called Jeju House of Well Being (www.jejusauna.net) which is a place that has detox saunas/rooms, massage, body work, the whole 9. The person I am assisting offered it to me as a “Do Dorothy” day. I picked Christmas because why wait to start the New Year?

    • @ Cathie...Thanks!  I can already see how this will unfold.  I asked hubby to have his daughter take the turkey out of the freezer and put it  in the fridge.  He said “one extra day won’t matter will it?“......errrrrr.....just call & have her walk downstairs and move the %$^* Turkey to the fridge!!!  Sheeeesh!  I’m sure I’ll start Wed. slicing and dicing.  It’s one of those households where it’s a headache but a much bigger headache if you have to instruct someone on how to do everything.tongue out  I’ll make the best of it though.happy

    • having both our grown up children home for christmas eve and part of christmas day.  Our son is driving to his girlfriends after dinner on christmas day because he wants to eat with us and she wants to be with her family.  Our daughter and her boyfriend are staying over and leaving us boxing day.  On christmas day my sister and her family are coming for dinner.  I love a busy christmas and this will be the first one in many years that we haven’t had a baby in the house.  It will be different but I know that we will have a lovely day.estatic

    • I’m going out to dinner on Christmas Eve. I refuse to stay home and let this Christmas pass me by, I Have to celebrate it! Thankfully, the restaurant up the highway is open for dinner so no matter the weather, it’s a short drive.

My brother surprised me with wanting a cat, so even if the weather was good for driving, I wouldn’t take my “boys” not trusted with cats. I’m planning to move down there so it’s not
like I won’t get to visit without my “boys” along, and I will get to play with his cat.

      Merry Christmas,
      Cathie
