    • I watch Dr. David Jeremiah sometimes on Sunday mornings and he is so inspirational, but when he mentioned how many people are challenging the word, “Christmas“..it made me very upset, isn’t that the whole reason behind Christmas..Christ!heart

    • I say “Merry Christmas“...and I write it as well.  I hate the “X” people some times put in place of the word Christ! I despise it.

But I made the decision several years ago...that if it says Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings...I don’t buy it.  And the more diversified people become...the more I will make a Christian statement!! Sorry if I step on your toes...but it’s what I believe...I am standing up for Christians!

    • I will usually say Merry Christmas since that is the holiday I celebrate. However I love hearing others celebrate their holiday and don’t mind at all if I am greeted in their holiday tradition. Living down here in the bible belt tho I am not experiencing any lack of the CHRISTmas spirit.

Thx Marie I always love hearing the knowledge you havehappy

    • I haven’t heard that anyone was wanting to delete the use of the word, Christmas. They are welcome to drop it, but I’ll continue to tell others, “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.“.

    • I am like Vicki...I am in the Bible belt and there is no lack of Christ in Christmas here...but have heard a bit of rumbling underneath at times....no big deals though.

I am with Cathie...I say Merry Christmas...Happy Holidays...both...just in case the person celebrates another...BUT...I will not stop saying Merry Christmas because that is what I celebrate...wouldn’t expect a Jew to stop saying Happy Hanukkah...or someone celebrating the other holidays to stop wishing those their greeting.

I will say that the attack is focused on Christians and the Christ in Christmas...and the “you’ve had the limelight for years, now it’s our turn argument is weak...history of the holiday isn’t ours anyways“...Oh for goodness sake!   It is all tradition and culture...celebrate what you believe and I will celebrate what I believe...I won’t stop anyone from greeting another their way or be offended if they greet me in their tradition...but then don’t stop me from mine....this is what Jesus would do...so will I....we are made up of a coat of many colors...all are appreciated.
