Who all made gingerbread houses this year? I see a lot of stores are carrying the kits to make them now, my daughter made a really nice one with my grand-daughter.
My daughter and I were going to make one this year but then we decided we couldn’t afford to buy all the candy we needed to decorate it the way we wanted to. It’s been quite a few years since I made a gingerbread house. Did some halloween ones years ago.

Did one for the first time this year with my 8 year old son. We got a kit at BJ’s & it actually went very well. he really enjoyed making it. It was clearly not done by a professional, but the more I look at it, the cuter I think it is!
It’s a annual thing at my school, 5-6th graders paired up with younger students and made small gingerbread houses using an empty pint size milk carton as the foundation. The kids are especially hyper on that day.
