    • Not at all!  Sheesh...seem’s like he need’s to find something else to complain about!  I have sent out company cards that say “Happy Holidays” and “Merry Christmas“.  Personally, I don’t see what all the fuss is over.worried

    • WOW! really? He really needs to get his priorties together. I don’t see anything wrong with the card she sent. I would think it’s the thought that counts and that she took time to send him one even. I myself am not a fan of her either but I say what she did was not wrong at all. I send out all kinds of differant cards, ones that say Happy Holidays, Season Greetings, Merry Christmas, Happy Christmas, etc.... To me It means the same thing just in differant words. It seems now a days people are just way to picky about certain things instead of appriciating what they get.

    • I send out Happy Holiday cards because I have them.  It is a holiday after all.  I also send out Merry Christmas cards.  It just depends on which one I grab at the time.

    • That’s absurd. I think sending our Xmas cards across the board would be much more inappropriate.

I have friends that celebrate different holidays, I think during the Chanukah, Xmas, Kwaanza period Happy Holidays works for all.

O‘Reilly needs to get a life.

    • Okay this my take on it.  I am a Christian...therefore...I send out cards (or try very hard to) that say MERRY CHRISTMAS!  Why?  Because that is my faith and it’s important to ME to do so.  I don’t say Happy Holidays...or anything else but Merry Christmas! If someone said Happy Hannakauka (sp?) to me...do you think I would get upset?  Heck no! I would say it back to them! But I don’t know everyone’s faith or what they believe in or not believe in therefore I can only go on what I BELIEVE IN and stand for! If someone sends me a Happy Holidays card...I take it that they THOUGHT OF ME and were nice enough to take the time to send me a card.

I think the thing between Joy Behar (who I detest) and Bill O‘Reilly who I like sometimes and sometimes I don’t....all goes back to when Joy and Whoopi walked off the stage when he was there.  There is some bad blood between them..and she sent him a card that she probably found out would piss him off.  I’m guessing.  He bit...and there ya go...another feud.  Who cares about any of them...really!!

I don’t care what kind of card I get...I really prefer funny ones..in all seasons...but don’t expect me to send out a Happy Holidays card.  It’s just a stand I’ve decided to take...

    • Great question!

Really I think it’s the thought that counts. I appreciate the person who took the time to pick the card, address it and sign it. That takes some effort and time and really for someone to do all that for ME....who am I to complain!!!!!

    • I say both and see no issue in it at all. Many do not see Christmas as a religious holiday in the same way. Sometimes Happy Holidays is the way to go and if I know the person thinks of it in the Christian way I’ll say merry Christmas.

      Honestly though, does it matter.estatic

    • Hmmm..well, in all honesty I would prefer to receive a Christmas card as I am Roman Catholic and that is what we celebrate and if I am not mistaken, doesn’t it have to do with Christ’s birth, so a Christmas card would reflect that..IMO!
