    • Upstairs neighbor, capable, wears only a flannel shirt-jacket in the cold, volunteer fireman (I know you‘re sick of me talking about this guy, but I can’t help it.), and he has a snow plow thingee attached to his masculine black truck. I just watched him roar into our apartment parking lot with his black truck with the yellow light on top, clearning away the snow for all of us.

Now he’s upstairs and I can hear his fire department whatever-it-is go off, so he’s off to some fire somewhere.

      OMG. You know????

      He’s got a girlfriend.

But it does mean they are out there. There is hope.

    • Are we talking real life? Hmmmmmm............ Dr Oz for making health fun and approachable, the General who is leading our wars, everyday firemen and police for protecting us.

Gosh this is hard and as you can see I have to think about it. Now if you meant something else like Steve Morgan from author Rosemary Rogers bodice ripping novels well them
      N that’s easy!!!!!!

    • Eva - yes, and she’s in her 30’s and gorgeous, and she takes care of his cat during the winter months. I saw her leaving his place once, and kind of inadvertendly watched him watching her leave, and OMG he was on fire over her. But they are out there.

Vikki, it’s funny because Dr. Oz is indeed a hero, isn’t he. He loves women, he truly wants the best for women. He’s smart and has a great sense of humor.

Oh yes, our guys over there in Iraq and Afganastan, our generals and protectors.

Eva, I look forward to the time you feel comfortable enough to share about that “certain someone“.

    • My husband. He is a true hero. So many spouses leave when their spouse becomes ill. My husband does more in one day then most husbands do in one week.

He works 50+ hours a week, grocery shopping, 98% of all the cooking, laundry, gets the kids to and from places they need to go, me to my doctors, fixes things around the house, picks me up when I fall, helps me shower, get in and out of bed, sometimes has to do my hair, helps me dress... and the list goes on.

Ruby and I are trying to figure out a way to clone him.

Even with my weight gain, my wheelchair, my embarrassing issues that come with MS, he still says that I am the most beautiful woman in the world.heart

    • Oh Tracy, I must say, your husband is the truest hero of all. I love him so much because of how he loves you and takes care of you. Reading your comment about him made my heart so happy - not about the MS that you‘re going through, you sweet angel - but that he is there, and he truly loves you through thick and through thin. That, to me, is true love. Yes, he is a true hero.

    • Tracy, perhaps because you‘re in the middle of it. He stays because he loves you and cares about you. Because he knows that family is what life is about. Because he knows what you‘re going through and wants to do what he can to ease the pain. It’s no wonder to me, sweetest Tracy, why he stays!

    • I’m like Marya, I really have no male heros.  I guess the pastor we had when I was in high school is about as close as I have to a male hero.  He was pretty special.

Mz Tracy’s hubby would get my vote since I don’t personally know any guys like that!

Suzann, that guy with the flannel shirt and the snowplow,  steer clear of the guys like that.  I was married to one.  They’ve got all the time and energy in the world being a nice guy to everyone who needs a hand, but no time for a wife.

    • LOL! He is the hero in author Rosemary Rogers novels Sweet Savage Love and others.

Those were my first romance reads and he just stuck! When I answered this ????? I wasn’t sure what Suzanns intent was so I went with the light funny version.
