    • PS - the news said he and his daughter got into a arguement and the police were called.  No charges filed and he was let go.

    • The sad thing is when this happens as I know full well with Brianna the world goes mad but there is no back up- Brianna got her book deal but she is still living in her trailer all be it on a nice lot but she came to stay with me while she wrote it as she didn’t make enough to live and take time out. I hope someone mentors him as I think his downfall last time was due to his rise in fame and all the fake lifestyle - so hope he doesn’t fall in that pit again

    • Vicki, he said on The Today Show that he was going to use their physc. (or whatever she is) to sponsor him.  I hope he does.  They also said he commented that he sure could use a “nerve pill” before he went on some show.  Not a good sign.

    • This guy was homeless and has been drug free for 2 years.  He is an instant celebrity.  How surreal to wakeup and have all these choices!  America I believe wants a happy ending.  Let’s give this guy a break.  The media is intrusive and possibly is implementing this situation with his daughter for what...more media coverage?  Someone this fragile needs to slow down.  We can’t just expect him to get back in the race!  If he has a manager, I hope he helps him to filter out the drama and help him in making good business decisions and life choices. He does need to be psychologically looked after for awhile.  And it may be for well over a year.  The deep breathing exercises that he is learning will help in certain emotional situations. But he still needs to go slowly back into “normal” life.  Let’s support this guy!  I’m sending him prayers that he will be ok. and that he will get a job to support himself and to truly find happiness in just “being“.

    • I just love his story but also I think it is too much all at once.  The media needs to leave him alone so that he has time to process all of this new found fame.  Sure hope he does well.estatic

    • I’m thinking it’s way too much all at once for him also and of course he’s been drug free for 2 years, hes been homeless, not sure he has had the money to even buy drugs. I also heard on the news that he walked out on his wife and kid. So not sure what the real story is but I do hope things work out for him and that he gets his priorities straight and takes care of his daughter and not get all caught up in all the hollywood hoopla! Best of luck to him.heart

    • I just heard on the news last night that he was going in to a facility for his drug addiction...but who knows. The media could have been wrong on that also.

I really hope everything turns out well for him.

    • It’s too bad these companies are hopping onto this bandwagon without knowing enough about Mr. Williams. Does he have to go through the same interview/testing process any regular applicant would?

I feel badly for all of the trained broadcasters who are out of work due to severe budget cuts in radio. A man who used to work for me was let go from a station, and now he is homeless.

    • I love good stories too, but as most of you said, it’s too much too soon.  Susan Boule (sp), singer who became an instant success on Britain’s Got Talent had a nervous breakdown when so much attention was on her.

All the best to Ted Williams and all who have a come back story.

    • He may NEED a medicine for panic attacks IF prescribed by a doc. I see nothing at all wrong with that. Brain chemistry changes so much with drug and alcohol abuse. I am concerned for him too. I pray he does AMAZING!heart

    • I think it is amazing. And WOW, what a voice!!

That being said, I hope he gets with a sponsor and some counseling for all that is coming at him. It is most assuredly overwhelming and he needs a person/place to go and be able to talk and get advice, and most of all stay clean and sober.
