Q & A

Have you ever lived somewhere where you‘re glad you don’t live anymore?  I just heard that this county I used to live in growing up has had 13 homicides in 11 days!! Very sad.

I started spending more time back in MA with family and friends than I did at home. I told the hubby I am moving back to MA with or without you. Within a year after we moved back the crime rate went up there as well as murders. I was so glad we got out of there!

    • There’s actually a couple of places I’m glad I don’t live there anymore. San Francisco where I was born & raised because it’s just too crowded now. And Billings, Montana. I lived there just one year and wouldn’t go back. The winters are bitter cold with wind chill factor well below 0! (I’m shivering remembering it.)

    • Wow @ Cathie for living in Billings!  We rode to Sturgis one year and went to the Battle of Little Big Horn and when I looked at the map and saw how close we were to Canada, all I could think of is HOW FAR we have to ride to get back home!

I’ve lived in Texas all my life; Brownsville, TX which I loved as a child.  Then moved back to Houston, after I married we moved to League City, TX and on my scnd. marriage I live in Kemah.  I love it down in this area.  Do not see myself relocating.

    • Wow! @ Angel! That was one really Long ride! Longest bike ride I’ve been on was from nothern California out of Auburn where I lived to Big Sur in southern California. It was a spur of the moment, let’s go, road trip. Some nice people let us sleep in their camp site and we rode back home the next day. My gawd, that was a life time ago! ;oD

    • Diane, that IS really sad! yeah, good you don’t live there anymore is right!  As for me, I lived in the desert years ago, Phoenix for 2 years and Las Vegas for 8 years and I’m glad I don’t live there anymore ONLY because of the dreadful summer heat, if it weren’t for that it would be ok, but I did not do well at all in that intense heat! worried

MC, I love hearing that, where do you live? good for you happy

    • Where I used to live, Prince Georges County, wasn’t that safe when I used to live there.  Our house got broken into, there was a murder at the liquor store down the street and one time some guys followed me home from the grocery store.  Luckily my husband was home and he chased those guys off.  But it seems like things are WAY worse now.
