    • With someone, would be very bored if I was alone all the time.

    • I like living alone even though I’m married I’d like to have my own space again, I don’t like picking up after grown men who seem to care less about the cleanliness of their enviorment.tongue out

    • The year I turned 50 I moved into my own apartment. It was the first time in my life I was living alone. I rather enjoyed fixing up my place with feminine touches. I like living alone and I am grateful for having had the opportunity to develop the relationship with myself. It has been 2 1/2 years and now I would like to have someone with whom to share my life and wake up in the morning and have coffee.

    • Well, after 13 and 1/2 yrs of marriage I like living by myself but then with 2 boys (in their 20’s) still living at home I guess I’m not living alone..lol
And Like Mary I’m having the opportunity to develop the relationship with myself.. I need to find out who I am, it’s like I got lost when I was with my ex, because it was all about him..
But I do have to admit there are times that I would love to have someone to share things with and wake up with..

    • I prefer living with my husband.  The 2 kids came back and boy has that changed things.  Privacy?  What the heck is privacy?  Hmmmm.....I believe I’ve heard that word before.

    • I lived alone for 9 years before I got married and have lived with just my daughter for the past 12 years.  I’m dreading the day she moves out-I don’t think I could live with anyone but family.

    • I practically lived alone while married, so there hasn’t been much change in my now living alone for the past 15 months except the mess with no benefits. My concern now is that I may have had too much alone time to enjoy living with someone again. You know... grit my teeth because of toothpaste in the sink, pee on the rim of the toilet, dirty socks left on the floor, dishes not rinsed off, trying to sleep with snoring and covers ripped off of me, stupid arguments and huge clash of decorating tastes. LOL

I’m thinking I just want a boyfriend and he can stay over now & then, but I want my own home and be the queen of my castle. ;oD

    • I’ve done the room mate thing and it was okay. But for the last 25 years or so, I live alone ... with an occasional visitor. No one to clean up after but myself (and when I want to, not because I have to), no one hogging the bed (Queen size for the queen LOL), no snoring (unless I’m tired and sitting up), no one eating/drinking up my food and not replacing it (I hate that the most) and no one you have to wait for to get out of the bathroom when you gotta go!

Ahhh, solitude, only way I fly. It’s a blessing!

    • I lived alone for a long time before marriage. I’ve been a single parent for 13 years and I love life with my daughter.  Like want Anne said, someday she will leave and when that time comes it will hurt.  I don’t mind living alone, but not having a someone in my life will be so lonely.

    • Eva,

If he’s not a control freak, treats my animals as well as I do, gets rid of the blobs of his toothpaste in the sink, etc... maybe I could live with “the right one“. It would be after a Long time of visits to see if I could hack it every day though. LOL
