Regardless of region how long can you realistically wear fashion boots?
I am a boot junkie! Yep there it is!!! I admit to it
Seriously tho how long can I wear my boots? This week has been in the low 70’s this week. I know it’s going to cool down again but warmer weather is on it’s way.

LOL. Vikki.... I'm a all around shoe junkie. I wore boots last year into June and again at the end of summer, at night. It was still getting cold in June, and that's typical here. I plan to wear my short boots until it's too hot to. They feel dressy and (except for my cowboy boots) and look good with jeans. Hard to imagine it being in the 70's in February anywhere this morning. It's 25 here and snowing.

I know! I’m not used to nice weather this early in the year. As for footwear.....YEP I’m a junkie all the wayy around. However I think fall and winter footwear is more fun!

Until you get too hot in them. Or unless they have fur trim in which case they’d look kind of funny in June in most places.

I think as long as the boot is appropriate for the weather you can wear them whenever you like. I wouldn’t wear uggs or any other boot on a 90 degree day but if you had a cold day in the summer I don’t see why you couldn’t wear whatever pair of shoes/boots felt right.
I’m a little divided on the favorite seasonal footwear, as last year was the first time in 18 years that I could indulge my Love of footwear again and now have so many favorites that span the seasons. ;oD There are more boots than sandals, flats & pumps, though. Oh, I meant to imply that my cowboy boots don’t feel dressy, but casual chic and wear them more often than the rest of my boots.
I haven’t worn them out yet, but I bought a pair of black suede high heeled fitted ankle boots to wear under my skinny jeans that aren’t skin tight on me. A zipper on the side for a good fit and they‘re a girls night out or a date boot. Not for rain or snow though.
I’m breaking them in wearing them around the house and if you saw my silly happy smile, you’d be laughing and maybe relate. LOL

I like fall and winter footwear better too. I usually wear mine into May unless it really warms up sooner.
I quit wearing my winter boot’s around March. But, I wear my cowboy boots with jeans all year round. Gotta love a great pair of cowboy boots!
Just like Angel, usually March is about the end for me with boots...can’t wait for the sandals!![]()
I let the weather dictate. Once the temperature is warm enough to make the transition to a spring wardrobe, that is when I change footwear as well.
As soon as it starts getting too warm, I come out of boots. I have ankle booties, mid calf and knee boots. The knee boots are lined, but the booties are not and the mid calf are “special” (because they‘re purple suede!) I will wear sneakers until it’s time to break out the huaraches (also purple LOL). Never did like straight sandals, besides I wear orthotics so I need the sneakers to hide them big ugly suckers.
LOL, Kyah... knowing you Love purple it’s no surprise to me you’d have purple boots! ;oD

I also love boots and I do tend to let the weather dictate, but I will wear them as late as I can at least until the mid 70’s
Purple boots are the coolest! I have two pair. In ca u see boots all year round and with shorts to boot...corney joke but its working for me at this min. In time lol
Boots depending on style can be an all year thing
^5 to those who know the power of purple boots!
To tell a quick story, my primary doctor is in her 80s, and I knew she was going to be my doctor for as long as she would be practicing because the first time I visited her, she was wearing a purple suit! I happened to have on a pair of suede purple booties, and when I was getting weighed, she spotted them, snatched up one of them and said “Oooo! These are adorable! Where did you get these from?” and slipped her hand into the boot, feeling it all up. I gave her the fish eye and said, “Roamans, now un-hand the boot, Doc!” We cracked up laughing.
Just bought some summer boots they are pale cream suede with a punch hole pattern and I’m in love and yes I’ll wear them till the end of May or until it gets too warm
unless your feet feel like its sweltering in the boot then there is no need to change if it is comfortable
