Ive never had bad skin the occasioal pimple but now at 47 my face keeps breakin out!!
Has this happened to you? And what did u do?
I use Murads Acne spot treatment for that occasional pesky pimple.

I have a prescription medication called Differin gel and it works great, the only thing is if your insurance does not pay for it, it can cost roughly $150.00...it is only prescribed to people under the age of 35 or 40, can’t remember as it is considered cosmetic treatment after that age, so when my son gets a prescription for it, I use it..it is fantastic stuff.
I had very clear skin as a teenager. Menopause has brought out more frequent breakouts, though. I’m just cleansing really well and being careful that my moisturizer isn’t too oily. And I’m diligent about taking makeup off and cleansing before bed.
Natures way of getting revenge for having good skin as a teen?

I’m a pimple chin but mine is due to testing face creams - I have noticed the more heavy creams now cause spots and other friends have commented so maybe an age thing
I thought due to age and dryness that the more heavy , emollient creams would be better but actually they cause spots - so maybe try a light whipped cream like L‘Oreal revitalift and see what happens
I tried a lot of acene products but it was not until I discovered that I had low posstasium levels and so I started taking posstassium that my skin cleared up
