Q & A

Who works out and what type of workouts do you do?  Results?  I do weights and cardio throughout week.  I’m always open for various types of exercise.

    • heartbreakheartbreakyoga and I’m doing this 30/30 to run in a 5k end of April and soon to do half marathon. But I also go up and down my stairs (27) at least 1 time a day for 10 sets. I’m not a big exerciser. Got tierd thinking of the work out lol I do love walking.

    • I try to exercise 3 times a week.  Twice a week it’s usually yoga and then I go to the gym at work where I walk on the threadmill, lift some weights, and do some reps on the various machines.

    • I alternate exercises each day.  I do elliptical for 45 minutes and then about an hour routine of hand weights and other pilates mat work.  The  next day I do the cybex machine for 30 minutes and then 30 minutes of stationary bike.  I rest between 1-2 days a week generally.  I try to walk 1 or 2 days.  I am tabooed from running anymore so I find other things.  I was once told that a study said if women did cardio 200 minutes a week it helps to maintain or lose weight.

    • I like to walk so I have a treadmill with an incline and upper body work out. I vary the routine and can see results especially in my lower body. I also wear a pair of earth sneakers while walking on it which helps me to not slouch and they help to work the legs and butt more!happy

    • I overdid it with the heavy squats now I have a big ass.  That’s alright, I don’t mind.

    • I do a few basic calisthenics, some belly dancing, a lot of walking. I have a stationary bike but it’s collecting dust right now because I don’t want to re-injure my foot that I had surgery on. There are a few workouts shown on YouTube by the way. One of them I subscribe to is called “Calisthenics Kingz.” I’ll never get as fit as he is but I like his routines.

    • "Lean Chalean" program - Work out with HEAVY weights and cardio. It's a wonderful program! It's a good time in my life to get toned. Too much cardio burns muscle - I learned that the hard way!
