Today I parked next to a car w/ 2 crying toddlers (about 2 & 3 yrs). It’s a hot day and the windows are up. That was so upsetting to see. I bought my drink and hung around a bit to see if any adult would return. The doors were locked and I tried to get their attention. Then a restaurant worker came out and yelled out at me, “Hey, they‘re my sister’s.” I told her don’t you know they‘re crying and it’s hot in the car. She didn’t say anything, but opened the car and attended to them as if it’s not a big deal. WHAT‘S WRONG WITH PEOPLE?????
Are any of you raising your Grand children? How do you seperate the roles of being thier “parents” and still enjoying them as grandbabies?
