Help! I need some advice! My unemployment insurance has just run out so money is very tight. Also just found out my daughter needs her wisdom teeth out so another unexpected expense.
A good friend from college’s daughter just graduated from UCSD so my friend and her husband and other daughter are coming down tomorrow and want to get together. Chances are they will offer to pay for dinner, but I cannot be sure. If we don’t get together she will be very hurt. We bought the daughter a card, but I will feel cheap if I don’t give her at least $20. In addition my daughter must complete and turn in her photography class assignments by Friday the 17th so she is super super (5 hours a day of homework- at least busy) and she’s getting her wisdom teeth out the 15th. We also want to get together with other friends who will be in San Diego only a week. These other friends I know I can explain my situation and they will offer to pay.
Still I feel so cheap and poor. We don’t get visitors that often and now everything is happening at once. Should I just put everything on my credit card and worry about it later?
Thanks for your input
