  • Whitney Houston Was Refused Facelift After Medical Exam – Weeks Before Death

Posted on Tuesday, February 28, 2012

Such sad news that one of our favorite song birds left us recently. Whitney Houston had long been one of my favorite stars and her voice was magical when she sang songs that demonstrated her range of talent.

Several articles were released after her passing suggesting that she had contemplated a surgical face lift and that her surgeon, Dr. Marc Mani refused the singers request. I understand that this young, beautiful and talented woman was denied the procedure due to medical testing for heart, liver and lung function.

A surgical facelift requires anesthesia and anesthesia can be dangerous with many side effects. More than dizziness and headache, anesthesia can have fatal complications. Hopefully, Ms Houston was honest with her physician regarding alcohol and prescription drug use. I applaud Dr Mani's stance because having face work done under the best of conditions can still have unexpected consequences.

Whitney just wanted to look better, more refreshed and revitalized and she thought surgery was the answer. Surgery can present many challenges; recovery takes time and the results are not always what were contemplated. Thankfully, there is Facial Magic. This non-surgical, non-invasive exercise program can provide the user with a sculpted face without any risk. Eye brows lift, cheeks lift and tighten, the jaw becomes sculpted and viable while the forehead smoothes and crow's feet diminish. Using isometric and resistance movements can turn back the clock and have you looking five, ten, even fifteen years younger in just weeks. What could be easier?
    ____________________________________________________________________________________

Signs of Whitney Houston deteriorating health were becoming apparent weeks before her death. A plastic surgeon refused to perform a facelift on the late singer after she failed a standard medical check, reports Radar Online

A source told Radar Online "She was concerned about her appearance and wanted a facelift." But Dr. Marc Mani denied the singer's request after a standard check up on her heart, liver, and lungs. It's most likely the doctor was concerned that Houston would not survive the use of anesthesia.

While the doctor would not comment directly on Houston's case, he told the website "In the years past, I have cancelled surgeries based on medical clearance both for celebrities and other patients. I feel very strongly about celebrities' being overindulged by physicians, I treat a lot of them and care for them."

Unfortunately, it appears there are a few doctors without Dr. Mani's standards. Houston's coroner has issued several subpoenas to find what prescriptions she had been granted. While this is standard procedure for the coroner, several sources believe Houston's star power allowed her to receive drugs she did not need.

  • Watch Dr. Arnold Klein Rebuild Janice Dickinson’s Face By Injection

Posted on Monday, February 27, 2012

I debated showing you this clip because it's pretty gruesome but then decided to post it so you can see just how invasive injections can be. Personally, I would never allow anyone to do this to my face but hey, that's why there is vanilla and chocolate. One note – what happens to all of those toxic substances that are injected? Scary indeed!

This astonishing video turned up on Facebook and we just HAD to share it with you. It seems to have been made recently in the midst of Michael Jackson's famous dermatologist, Dr. Arnie Klein's , bankruptcy problems. He's shown discussing his facial rejuvenation techniques and demonstrating them on, of all people, Janice Dickinson . An observer described it as "surreal."

  • DivaDebbi Interviews Aging Backward’s Jackie Silver

Posted on Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Aging Backwards Author and Anti-Aging Expert Jackie Silver

Those who are DivaDebbi subscribers, know I'm particularly interested in products and experiences that help maintain youthful, radiant beauty. I browse, books, magazine and the Internet for information to try and share with my readers.

I first learned about Jackie Silver, author and radio personality, while perusing Amazon for anti-aging books. Jackie wrote Aging Backwards:Secrets to Staying Young filled with her secrets, tips and shortcuts for looking and feeling young.

Soon after, I went to the website Jackie founded, AgingBackwards.com, and signed up for her free Ageless Beauty  newsletter, which I receive several times a week via email. The newsletter is written in collaboration with Dr. Al Sears, one of the nation's first board-certified anti-aging physicians and a respected medical writer and researcher.

It's easy reading and chock full of suggestions and products, "dedicated to enabling people to living longer, more active, happier lives."

I had the opportunity to meet Jackie this week, when I was in town for Fashion Week and I can fully attest, that this natural beauty looks years younger  than her biological age, without a milliliter of injectibles. Suffice to say, "I'll have what shes having."

I was delighted, but not surprised that Jackie agreed to be interviewed. We bonded immediately! Here goes:

DD: Forgive me for staring, but I can't quite put my finger on who you look like...no worries, it's someone beautiful! Who do people tell you, you resemble?

JS: Aw, thanks!! People have told me they think I resemble many different
American celebrities, but my favorite compliment was when someone said I
reminded them of the Italian supermodel Monica Bellucci. This was a couple
of years ago and I had never seen her before and looked her up. Wow, to be
compared to Monica – what an HONOR!!

DD: OMG  I can totally see that!

    Monica Bellucci

DD: You too look many years younger than 50 anything, much less 50 something. We all love a little instant gratification. Can you tell me three things my readers can do today to look more youthful?

JS:  Well, if we're talking instantly, I'd say:

    1) Go to Cynthia's Rowland's Web site and try her FREE eye lift exercise
(then order Facial Magic for a more long-term solution, wink).
    http://budurl.com/re6h
    2) Get a full night of beauty rest! Our bodies tune up when we're sleeping,
so get a free tune-up tonight (and every night).
    3) Start on the right kind of exercise program that uses today's scientific
findings, such as Dr. Al Sears' PACE Express program, instead of the same
old routines from the 80s or 90s. You can work out 12 minutes a day and get
a great result – that sure beats the old "hour a day" routine!
    http://bit.ly/uKVcYi

DD: I now know you hail from Florida. Were you a sun worshipper when you were younger? What is your philosophy now about the sun? Do you use SPF daily, and if so where?
JS: was definitely a sun worshipper from age one through 25! My mother
used to tell me to stop "frying" myself (we used baby oil mixed with iodine
on our FACES and used a reflector!). I finally realized at age 25 that I was
destroying my skin and I stopped tanning (came to my senses). I pretty much
stay out of the sun, but if I'm going to be outside in direct sun for any
length of time, I will use organic sunscreen on face, ears (yes, earlobes
can show your age!), neck, chest and hands.

DD: Do you think looking younger is genetic, hardwork, a mindset, or a bit of each?

JS: Definitely a bit of each. We all have some genes we like more than
others – play up your best. I wouldn't necessarily say "hard" work, but
consistent work is more like it. And mindset is majorly important! Tip:
smiling makes you look younger and studies have found that even if you don't
feel happy, you can "become" happier by faking a smile.
    http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=smile-it-could-make-you-hap
    pier

DD: Oh I soooo agree! One of my favorite sayings is, "act as if." It works everytime!
DD: Can you tell us a bit about your lifestyle? What is your skincare routine?
JS: Exercise is the fountain of youth – I have worked out consistently since
age 17. There are plenty of studies that prove it, so don't take my word for
it. Here is one from The New York Times:
    http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/01/27/phys-ed-how-exercising-keeps-your-cells-young/
What's even more important than my "skincare routine" is that I make sure to
never sleep in my makeup. In my opinion, proper daily cleansing is the most
important part of the skincare routine. After cleansing, I use my own
Replenish (http://agingbackwards.com/along with Dr. Sears' Revive
    (http://www.on2url.com/app/adtrack.asp?MerchantID=132773&AdID=510039I
also love Dr. Sears' Sierra mud mask.
DD: Are you a proponent of a particular kind of diet and do you believe in supplements?
JS: I eat whatever I want – in moderation – and I usually want food that is
typically considered "healthful," including fresh organic fruit and
vegetables, protein and the "good" fats. Oh, and dessert is on my "food
pyramid." (In moderation, as previously mentioned).
I do believe in supplements and the ones I take are from very reputable
sources so I know they are providing me with the nutrients they promise to
deliver in an absorbable formula. My reputable sources: Dr. Al Sears,
    (http://alsearsmd.com/Life Extension (http://www.lef.org/Astavita for
    Skin Defense Complex (http://astavita.com/topical.html

DD: You look like your barely wearing any makeup! Is that the case or do you just have a deft hand? Do you favor any particular brands?
JS: My friend Bruce Grayson , head of the Emmy's and Oscar's makeup
departments, told me that as we age we need less makeup and when someone of
Bruce's skills and credentials tells me something, I listen. I don't wear a
lot of makeup, but when I do I make sure it's natural looking.
My favorite foundation is Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind – looks great and super fast
and easy to apply with a built-in sponge applicator. It's very affordable*
and available at any store where Maybelline is sold (which is almost
    everywhere).*

DD: I know you are a proponent of facial exercise? Does it work and how important do you think that is in looking and feeling youthful?

JS: I already mentioned above that my "credo" is, "Exercise is the fountain
of youth" and that includes exercising the muscles of the face and neck.
Cynthia Rowland's Facial Magic facial exercise program is my number one
beauty "secret." Not that it's so secret – she's been featured on The
Doctors, The Rachael Ray Show, The View and many more.

DD: Where do you stand on hormone replacement therapy? Women are both terrified and confused about what is safe.
JS: Hormone replacement therapy is a very personal decision between a woman
and her doctor. I urge any woman who is suffering from symptoms she*
attributes to peri-, pre- or post- menopause to consult her physician.

DD: I'm looking forward to tuning into your radio show. What topics do you discuss and can listeners call in and ask questions? How do we find you?
JS: The Ageless Sisters radio show that Cynthia Rowland and I started a
couple of years ago is fun and we always have a great guest from the beauty,
anti-aging or scientific community to enlighten us and our listeners. We
discuss pretty much everything and anything!
    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theagelesssisters

DD: I'm a devotee of the fabulous blog Fab Over FortyIt was a lovely surprise to see you just joined their Fashion Flash Monday group. How will you be contributing?
JS: I'll be linking to all the bloggers as well as to articles I write on my
site, AgingBackwards.com. Here's an example of my recent interview with
Bruce Grayson (mentioned in the makeup question above):
    http://www.agingbackwards.com/?p=2597

DD: I know you have a huge Twitter following. Has "social media" helped you get the Aging Backwards message out there?

JS: Having many Twitter followers helps me reach a wide audience, but
besides that I have met so many wonderful people that I would otherwise
    never have met.
DD: You mean like me? LOL! I do believe I cyber stalked you...

DD: I know you are a frequent contributer to The Examiner.comWhat do you like to write about?

*JS: I have three columns on Examiner.com: National Anti-Aging Beauty
Examiner, NY Beauty Products Examiner and NY Charity Examiner. I love
writing for all three. Studies show that people who volunteer on a regular
basis are the healthiest and live the longest. Since I don't have much free
time to volunteer, I feel that my NY Charity Examiner column helps me give
    back in a significant way.
DD: I couldn't agree more! I have met some of my dearest friends through my volunteer efforts. A lovely example of good Karma in action!
DD: You don't strike me as the type to rest on your laurels. I have the feeling you must have some great things to follow up on the success of Aging Backwards:Secrets to Staying Young.Any secrets you can share at this time about future projects?

JS: The only secrets I share are my secrets and shortcuts about beauty and
ways to stay young, wink lol. I am always open to business collaborations so
there's usually something in the works at any given moment of my life.
Thanks so much for sharing with my readers! As one hopeless kitty lover to another, meow!

I hope you enjoyed "meeting" Jackie as much as I did....we would all benefit my taking a page or three out of her book.

    xox,
    DD

  • CNN Hero of the Year ‘Mother Robin’ warns that GMOs may cause widespread umbilical cord deformities

Posted on Wednesday, February 15, 2012

I admire and appreciate Mike Adams, the Health Ranger from Naturalnews.com He freely exposes injustices and wrongs from our food supply to immunizations and more so that we can make informed decisions for our good health. Today he has posted information regarding CNN's Hero of the Year, midwife Robin Lim, who speaks of her experience with umbilical cord abnormalities. We need to stay super aware of the GMO's in our food supply.
    ___________________________________________________________________________________

    by Mike Adams

(NaturalNews) Ibu Robin Lim is a world-renowned gentle-birth midwife, and the creator of the Bumi Sehat Birth Clinic in Bali (www.bumisehatbali.orgThere, Lim offers guidance and midwifery services that result in the birth of over 600 babies each year .

Known as "Mother Robin," she was granted CNN's coveted "Hero of the Year" award on December 27, 2011 (http://us.cnn.com/2011/12/11/living/cnn-heroes/index.html?hpt=hp_t1 After granting her the award, CNN wrote "This is the fifth year that CNN, with the help of entertainers and other celebrities, have honored everyday people changing the world."

You can now likely expect CNN to desperately try to revoke that award, because Ibu Robin Lim is reportedly beginning to raise questions about GMOs that the hoax (mainstream) media doesn't want you to consider. Specifically, "Mother Robin" is now reportedly seeing a huge increase in umbilical cord deformities  that she believes may be caused by GMOs, according to text attributed to her.

This text letter, which has been re-posted on numerous websites, including the Birth Of A New Earth blog (http://birthofanewearth.blogspot.in/2011/08/gmo-foods-and-damage-to-h... contains the following urgent warnings:

Warnings about GMO damage to human umbilical cords and unborn babies

Two weeks ago we had Padma, a vegetarian for 15 + years. This 4th baby was born healthy... but the cord was flat and 4 to 5 cm wide (looked like a tape worm) and had five skinny vulnerable vessels arriving each separately to the placenta.

Cords are [now] shorter. we are seeing many less dramatic examples of shorter cords, velamentous cord insertion, diminished Wharton's jelly, and strange looking placentas.

Last week we had a five babies in a 12 hour night... two had velamentous cord insertions! It's just not average anymore. In five days time I saw one fatal cord accident, another cord problem leading to stat cesarean birth, and today another incident of deep fetal distress due to cord problems.

The study I read concerning M16 genetically modified corn showed that when fed to pregnant mice, all the offspring in one generation, had alterations of ALL the cells in ALL their organs! Can you see why I am worried about our precious placentas? I did not make this connection until I began to see an increase in abnormalities and pathology due to placenta and cord troubles. The fact that so many Indonesian women depend upon genetically modified soy products (tempe and tofu) for their day-to-day protein — and the early introduction of GMO soy here... it got me wondering.

As I see it we have three combined potential ways in which the placentas are being affected in Indonesia; Malnutrition, Pollution (including Roundup) and GMO soy.

Watch a video interview with Ibu Robin Lim discussing holistic, non-chemical treatments for postpartum depression as part of the After Birth Project: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Fk0DgOmo9U

Her words in this interview are entirely consistent with expressing concern about genetically modified foods having the potential to harm human babies in the womb.

GMOs – an industry of death

This testimonial attributed to a CNN Hero of the Year award winner adds weight to the increasing evidence that GMOs promote infertility and contribute to birth defects and infant death.

Numerous scientific studies already link GMOs to infertility in animals. As Dr. Gregory Damato writes in NaturalNews:

"Scientists in Austria recently conducted the first ever long-term multi-generational feeding study of Monsanto's genetically modified (GM) corn (NK 603 x MON 810) in mice [7]. The study consisted of two groups: an experimental group, which was fed a 33% GM corn (maize) feed, and a control group, which was fed an equivalent non-GM corn feed. The mice were allowed to live a natural life and were monitored for four generations. Scientists recorded organ weight, gene expression, body mass, metabolism, life span and number of offspring of both groups of mice. The scientists found that mice fed GM corn had significantly fewer pups per litter than the control group on the third and fourth generation. Furthermore, pups whose parents were fed GM-feed weighed less at birth and at weaning and experienced significantly higher mortality rates than those fed non-GM corn. Lead author of the study Professor Zentek reported that there was a direct link between the decrease in fertility and the GM diet and mice fed non-GM corn reproduced more efficiently."(http://www.naturalnews.com/025001.html

No wonder GMOs are the favored technology of people like Bill Gates who publicly and openly espouse a dramatic reduction in the human population (depopulation agenda)(http://www.naturalnews.com/029911_vaccines_Bill_Gates.html Any agricultural "technology" that promotes umbilical cord defects, birth defects, infertility and unhealthy babies will eventually lead to a population collapse of the species it is feeding... which in this case is humans.

Spread the word: Avoid GMOs if you love your baby . Do not let pregnant women eat genetically modified foods of any kind: Corn, soy, canola or cottonseed.

Health Ranger issues warning to pregnant women: Avoid GMOs!

As the editor of NaturalNews, I am publicly warning would-be moms that if you eat GMOs during pregnancy, you may be wiping out the very future of your offspring . Your genetic, in other words, may be extinct in just 3 generations.

Bill Gates says "eat more GMOs! They will feed the world!" These are the utterings of an admitted depopulation globalist who wants to see the number of human beings on planet Earth sharply diminish. But the midwives have a different warning: Stunted babies, stillborn babies, grossly disfigured umbilical cords, and a sharp increase in birth complications and fatalities. This is a warning for the very future of humankind.
